- A Fanscape signup can be found on an artist's website, at an unofficial artist website ("Affiliate Site" or "Fan Site"), at Fanscape.com, or at a 3rd party location on the Internet. A Fanscape list normally is identified by the words "Powered by Fanscape" at the bottom of the signup form.
- The basic information gathered typically includes name, address, age, gender, email address, cell phone carrier/model, ethnicity, and household income so that the demographics of the data can be determined. Cell phone data is collected in order to provide information if delivery of information is desired via cell phone.

- Personal data collected for an artist's online Street Team is used to communicate both news and directions on how to help promote an artist on the Internet.

This information may include feedback on the artist as well as information on how you helped promote the artist online. You may also be asked information pertaining to your trends and tendencies such as purchasing or viewing habits. You are not required to answer any of these questions. However if you consistently do not answer survey questions or fail to respond to any of the street team missions, you may be dropped from the team in order to keep the team active and accurate.
- Information gathered for contests and sweepstakes is used to enter people into the pool of potential winners. Occasionally information is passed on to CLIENTS or partners of Fanscape that have contributed to prizing or participation of the contests and promotions. Please check the contest rules and specific privacy policy when entering a contest for exact information about the sharing of this data.
