Structure of Internship Program:
As an intern here at Fanscape you will have a variety of responsibilities that will allow you to learn about and work on numerous entertainment-based projects and campaigns. While interns have the chance to work extensively with all of the departments that fall under the larger marketing umbrella, the majority of your projects will be focused within the Grassroots Marketing Department. The foundation of many of our campaigns here at Fanscape is to help the band/client develop a prominent standing within the base online communities where interested fans and consumers spend the majority of their time. The purpose of the Grassroots Department is to locate these individuals, develop messaging to inform them about the band/product and finally to interact with the community as a peer to create a buzz about the campaign at this basic level. Outreach is carried out in message boards, video-upload sites (YouTube, iFilm, Grouper) and social networking communities (Myspace, Facebook, etc). As individuals spend an increasing percentage of their time in these online spaces, the efforts of the Grassroots Department have become instrumental to the success of our campaigns.
In addition to the work done through the Grassroots Department, interns will also have the opportunity to complete projects related to Online Publicity, Online Promotions and Client Management. Often times an intern will have two or three Grassroots projects on which they are the point person, as well as one or two specific projects where they will work closely with other members of the marketing team. These projects are especially beneficial for students who have focused their studies on Public Relations, Publicity, Communications or other fields.

Focused Internships:
We also offer students who are interested in specific fields such as Business Development, Human Resources and Entrepreneurship the opportunity to pursue these areas in a music and entertainment marketing environment.

Business Development:
